About Us

Principal photographer Mark started learning industrial & commercial photography over 30 years ago as an assistant in a busy studio in Manchester, UK.

MF-010_200x300_bwSince then my photographic career has encompassed 7 years travelling the globe as a cruise ship photographer on 11 different liners. For the last 5 of these years I was the franchise manager responsible for everything from ordering stock to mixing chemicals, taking & selling thousands of images a week to counting and accounting for the revenue.

I met my wife Mary on our travels, we married in Mt Gambier in 1994.

We moved to Perth W.A where I engaged in running film processing studios and working as a contract magazine photographer before having my own successful wedding and portrait studio. The first studio was in Perth but the arrival of our children saw us move to Adelaide to be nearer family where a new commercial and industrial photography studio was established.

History

I have seen the transition from large-format cameras to medium format to 35mm to digital.From traditional darkroom techniques, wet-chemical processes to the latest multi-megapixel cameras and imaging software.From magazine and print images to online imaging.
